To those closest to him in Canada mourning his loss.

The depth of impression left on the lives of each of us in our family has been enormous.

Sometimes our hearts are not so easily reached in the humdrum of daily survival .. but this last week has left them open and mellow -- not only because of the unspeakable tragedy in why we gathered with you ...  but also in the profound moral beauty in how it was faced, and how Charlie's beauty, honor, memory and dignity was preserved and highlighted by you all.

In this unspeakable loss we all all have found a deepness within us,  against our will.

Thinking of you all as you face a new chapter in life ... Life will never be the same, but there are also some beautiful shades in the pain of sorrow. Hope your are able to see them as you make your way into the sunrise of a new and different day.
