Holidays in Ghana

When we started talking about coming to see Emma in Nigeria she told us that Nigeria may be interesting but it is inland and not a very good tourist place .. she said 'Lets go for a few days in Ghana .. its on the sea and a far more relaxed climate" .... so after a few days in Abudja we all took a 2 hour flight to Accra, the capital of Ghana .. and Emma had booked a lovely beach hotel for us where we could really relax and enjoy.  After a couple of days Mireille and I decided to hire a car and driver and take a trip 200 km up the coast to see the farming and fishing part of Ghana .. and then stop at the slave castle at Cape Coast.  Turned out to be extremely interesting.
