Rebeckas celebration as registered nurse 2020-01-17

We are proud of you Rebecka as you celebrate the completion of your degree in nursing --- We are extra proud because we happen to know a bit about the path that has led you here. Full time studies .. together with full time family responsibilities , weekend jobs, and the needs of 2 small wonderful children has placed its obvious demands on life and upon those around you. Congratulations is the least we can say!

In the years ahead, your choosen occupation will give you the oppurtunity to touch many lives .. undoubtably improving the life capacity and life quality of many. Folks will come into your care with the belief and hope that you have the capacity and means to in some way, enhance their situation. This is of course a major responsibility.

Most are aware that the health care industry sometimes lacks the capacity to completely deal with or cure all the ills that can afflict humanity and health. It never has, and never will have! I am sure that you are well aware of such limitations in your profession --- and I hope that you also understand that an important aspect of health care is in the ability through empathy, kindness and understanding to help folks find ways to positively deal with less than perfect circumstance, and with less that perfect diagnosis or life horizon. This will also be an important and fullfilling aspect of your daily service.

Of course the learning process of your profession doesn’t end here …. Like life in general, the capacity for success .. for fullfillment .. and for achievment in general, is closely related to a continued will to learn and to become richer through every experience, success or failure that life may throw at us

Becka, we wish you and your lovely family all the best .
