The pandemic
of 2020 has caused major
disruptions in society throughout our whole world … Yet
in the smaller circle of our family and closer friends
it would be an exaggeration to talk about major hardship
… Mostly it has just meant certain social adjustment -- an
acceptance of an uncertainty around us, and of course,
also an awareness of danger.
Outside this …. for us it has been an excellent year
… a year of major positive development amongst those
dearest and nearest around us … With both new and
wonderful thriving grandchildren – several examples of
the individual childrens
home enhancements with ongoing projects … and
as yet, apparent stability and advancement in both jobs and
studies etc … (including that in some of those quite close
to us, I am
quite delighted to sense a feeling of positive personal satisfaction
in the deeper issues of life fulfillment )
A year that has not been without its bumps in the road -- and not without
a few tears here and there -- but its been everything a
year should be … and I’m thankful to have been given this
year to
share with those I love the most.
