Christmas 2025 in Umeå   For us (and 95% of Swedes) Christmas is a major cultural celebration quite separate from any religious significance. The Christmas philosophy for us, is that as the date brings us together, we do things just to make each other as happy as possible ... sharing gifts .. a special meal together .. doing things and being together .. spending positive time separate from just the issues of simple everyday survival. Making some memories that can strengthen the positive energy for the new year that is just around the corner. Pictures are clickable for full size
	Every second year we try to gather our family for a Christmas celebration together. The year between they figure out Christmas for themselves. This year Mireille and I spend Christmas with Mireilles sister and family in northern Sweden
