It is  frustrating to watch much of the daily news in this part of the world. Lots of the feeling "wish-it-was-different-than-it-is".   So even if I don't live in the Canada of my roots anymore, a whole day devoted to "the things that really have worked out quite well" isn't such a bad idea!! An amazing (beautiful) woman to share our home and life with, probably tops the list of "these things"-- along with 6 wonderful kids and 7 equally wonderful grandkids.  And a beautiful fall landscape to live in!!! However dull the day,  the little phone calls and drop-ins that are often our privelage, well override the negatives of the caotic world around us.
