As most know, we have a daughter Ellen (kid#3)  -- It has been our privelage to get to know her partner David's grandparents at a number of a family events like our grandchildren's birthday partys etc. At first I was impressed at statistics ... He will be 95 this year .. they have been married 72 years! .. but as we've got to know them a little better I have become  to value what amazing folks that they really are on the inside, and what a most wonderful and impressive life they have lived ... (and are living).  With signifcant help, they still live in their own beautiful home right on the shore of Swedens largest lake (50 km from our home) -- Lennart loves to begin the story of his life, waiting at the bus stop as a teenager for the bus from a neighboring village.  Young girls coming for Friday evening movies  .. one of them became his Ingvor!! ..  He tells about building a bakery in Ingvors parents garage, and then spending his life baking and distributing in the larger area of western Sweden.  He likes to mention that he often took David's dad (his son) with him in the truck when he delivered his baking.  In all, lots of hard work for a long time, but he wanted to  point out that he had valuable freetime with his family as well, and traveled with them as much as they could. A wonderful and admirable life testimony,  and as he summed it all up before we left - he said quietly  "If I could, I'd do it all again!"
