InCerrickfergusWithTheAllens

The Allens lovely home right on the sea  -- looking across the water to county Down.  We were the recipients of the warmest of hospitality in this home .... and we surely appreciated it to the full.

William is a retired banker .. both come originally from southern Ireland but have lived here for many years. We met one of their two children ... a young man that lives in the vicinity but has just bought a home and property out of Belfast.  Their daughter lives and works as a teacher in Switzerland.
From out bedroom window looking out at low tide. Beautiful view!

Sunday dinner with Norman Nash along with the Allens.  Mavis had prepared a wonderful typical Irish Sunday dinner for us -- it was delicious.

Great to become a little acquainted with Norman ... he worked in South America for years so is quite rich in experience.

Breakfast in Coloraine where William grew up.  They told us that the building in the background was severly damaged by a bomb in the period of  "The troubles"
