A major privelage and a wonderful joy enhancer in life is the oppurtunity sometimes given us to share moments of happiness, pride and fullfillment with those around us -- and with those that we feel close to. Today we have been given that honour.

Our Ellen (kid#3) and David have welcomed a new baby boy into their hearts, into their family and home ---- and into our family circle. We are all quite excited!

These first few days have been filled with completely "new beginings" , and "first ever" experiences for this little fellow -- some of them far more important and life determining than they are often given credit for. For instance this picture of him crossing the threshold to his home for the first time—A place where many of the most important early developments and life determining personality traits will grow and become part of the character that will lead him in life. 

As well, he is already establishing new relationships with many of the folks (cousins, aunts and uncles and family) that will in some ways will be there to share his dreams, his tears -- his fears and inspire him in his challenges --- as the emotional weather changes and evolves in his life .. (as it does for us all). -- This is an important begining and resource in his life.
