Celebrating our 33 year
engagement. |

33 years ago this evening, my daughter Emma and I, as well as
Mireille and her younger sister Nathalie went for an evening walk –
Walked through a beautiful park area surrounding the river locks in
our home town of Trollhättan. At one spot, Emma, who was 7 years old
at the time, took my hand -- looked me in the eye and said, ‘Ok dad,
let's go for it!’. She knew I had a ring in my pocket. That was the beginning of a commitment that has led us to the setting in life where we now find ourselves ---- after 33 years -- well filled with life ---and a most wonderful family later. Mireille’s Belgian background includes a love for mussels -- so today we celebrate in little seaside ‘Mussel bar’ just 30 km from our home, reliving our memories together and thankful for every step along the way.
